The adage “honour is given to whom honour is due”played out recently as an illustrious son of Ekwe Ancient Kingdom and a respected Imo stakeholder Amb. Uzoma Anokwute bagged a prestigious YOUNG ACHIEVERS award from the organizers of the 2024 Eastern Nigeria Merit award.
The award ceremony which took place at Rockview Hotels in the capital city of Owerri, witnessed the presence of high profiled personalities from within and outside the shore of the country who came to Grace the occasion.
Responding on the guesture, he expressed happiness on the turnout of events, he described the award as a source of strength, progress and motivation to him,
Speaking on the significance of the award ceremony, he unequivocally stated that it signifies a clarion call to all Igbos and business men to invest in Igbo land, that charity begins at home, he said the event also serves as a way of appreciating the effort of owners of business empires, who has contributed positively to economic development of the society they find themselves. He urged Investors to come and invest in the Eastern heartland.
Amb. Anokwute who due to his tireless efforts in the both business and public service sector was honoured, seized the platform to thank the organizers of the year’s event for honouring him.while pledging his continual support.
Amb. Anokwute, has also received several awards to his credit the 2024 ceremony is the 4th edition of the Eastern Nigeria Merit award.
