After the strategy stakeholders meeting organized by Imo State Election Commission (ISIEC) held Wednesday 19th June 2024 towards demonstrating the Commission’s commitment to transparency, accountability and credibility in the upcoming council polls in September 2024, it’s imperative that we also look at the substantive issues that truly impact positively on the lives of Ndi-Imo within the last four years.
Here are compelling reasons why casting your vote for the APC candidates in the forthcoming council polls are sacrosanct:
- A TRULY DEMOCRATIC PARTY. The APC remains a party that upholds the principles of democracy; respect the fundamental rights of members; respect for the rule of law and ensures citizens engagement. It is also a political system that fosters peaceful coexistence amongst various orientations and political ideologies; promotes unity; simplifies and stabilizes the political process geared towards impacting lives positively.
- ALIGNMENT OF MANIFESTO AND POLICIES: Amidst the plethora of political parties vying for attention, the APC stands out with a manifesto that resonates deeply with the aspirations of the Imo people. HOPE UZODIMMA: Upon assumption of office as the Executive Governor of Imo State in 2019, the 3R administration in the state has demonstrated a remarkable track record of performance which has further made the APC an attractive bride to all and sundry. Voting for APC in the forthcoming Local Government council elections will not only appreciate but acknowledge the developmental strides made thus far and also encourage the Executive Governor, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma to continue his transformative agenda for the state notably; by ensuring proper accountability in the utilization of public funds, inclusiveness in governance, improved education system, revamping all moribund industries, construction and completion of over 52 roads across the urban and rural areas within the three senatorial zones, rehabilitation of 305 ward health centres; just to mention a few.
