An All Progressives Party chieftain in Oru West Local Government Area, Hon Chief Alphonsus Okike ( Alpha We Know)
Who has declared his intention to run for Chairmanship position in Oru West Local Government in the Local Government elections scheduled to hold on Saturday 21st of September, 2024 . has promised that his constituents will witness effective representation if elected.
Hon Okike gave the assurance in Owerri, while fielding questions from the newsmen . He noted that Oru West deserves the best person to represent them at the council . According to him, the peace, unity and love in Oru West will be restored under his administration.
His words: “I am here to work for the good people of Oru West and I am here to carry everyone along with the intention of moving the local government to a greater height. I have various projects to execute included provision of good pipe water , women empowerment , Youth empowerment and infrastructural development , among others.
Hon Okike, further assured them that other needs of the local government including infrastructural and human empowerment would receive adequate attention. He disclosed his preparedness to work with the council members and others stakeholders of Oru West community to ensure that Oru West gets its due share for desired transformation.
Hon Okike further informed that his intention to contest for local government boss was decided by his people and they are ready to support him to emerge . He expressed readiness to protect his people’s interest, maintained that he must restore peace and unity in Oru West Local Government, he emphasized the importance of unity and progress in the area.
