Rt. Hon. Agbuba Osinachi, the newly elected Councilor for Ikenegbu Ward 1, has expressed his gratitude to Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for ensuring that the recent Imo State council elections were conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner, resulting in the emergence of credible candidates.
In his remarks upon receiving his Certificate of Return, Agbuba extended his appreciation to the leaders of his ward who played pivotal roles in the electoral process. He specifically recognized the significant contributions of Hon. MacDonald Ebere, PhD, and Rt. Hon. Ernest Ibejiako, as well as his campaign directors, Comrade Oguere Kamalu and Chief of Staff Obiukwu Uche, for their tireless efforts that led to his victory.
“I want to thank my constituents who came out in large numbers to support me at the polls. Your faith in me will not be misplaced; I assure you that I will work to ensure that the benefits meant for you are delivered,” he stated.
Additionally, Agbuba commended the Imo State Electoral Commission (ISEC) for their diligence in successfully conducting the election.
Known affectionately as “Mr. Empowerment,” Agbuba emphasized that receiving the Certificate of Return marks just the beginning of his commitment to the people of Ikenegbu Ward 1. He vowed to enhance community development initiatives and ensure that resources intended for the community reach them effectively.
