A frontline contender for Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area Chairmanship Position in the forthcoming Council Poll in Imo State, Prince Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe, has promised to redeem the locality by uphold democratic governance.
He said the democratic spirit he had inculcated over the years coupled with his patriotism will enable him to meet the needs of the people of Ohaji/Egbema squarely, if he is elected as their Executive Chairman.
He made the promise during an interview with journalists immediately after he obtained the Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms at APC State Secretariat in Owerri on Monday.
Lemachi who hails from Awarra/Ikwerede Ward, Ohaji, urged his people to give him the chance to give them quality leadership, saying it burns in him to passionately render effective service to the people through politics.
“Ohaji/Egbema people are looking for someone who can deliver, who can address their social and economic needs. I am that person, because I’m going to deliver. I’m firmly committed to wipe out their tears of woe. Hence I appeal to my people and APC members to support me to mount the Executive Chairmanship Seat of Ohaji/Egbema LGA Council”, Lemachi maintained.
Meanwhile, leaders of APC in Awarra/Ikwerede Ward, have unanimously endorsed Prince Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe as their Sole Candidate for Ohaji/Egbema LGA Chairmanship Seat for the September 21st Council Election in Imo State.
The leaders of APC in Ohaji/Egbema said they endorsed Lemachi as their Sole Candidate for the Executive Seat because he has the political capacity and leadership prowess to effect positive changes in the locality which they regretted is backward in terms of social amenities and human capital development.
The APC chieftains who gathered in Owerri on Monday, said they have total confidence in Hon. Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe to deliver efficiently to strengthen goodness and progress of the area, adding that the only person they know that is eminently qualified to steer the Executive Chairmanship Seat of Ohaji/Egbema Council positivey is Lemachi Nzeribe who they described as a pure humanitarian and a pragmatic leader.
“Prince Lemachi Stephen Nzeribe is a frontline contender in the forthcoming Imo Council Election in Ohaji/Egbema enclave. He is good, having empowered many youths of Ohaji/Egbema. He is a popular politician with vast experience in politics, commerce and industry. Hence, we unanimously endorsed him as APC Sole Candidate for the 21st September Council Poll in Imo State. We call on the entire APC members in our area to give Lemachi full support as he is the most qualified person to be on the Executive Chairmanship Seat. Also, other political parties should embrace him for our collective goodness and respite”, the APC chieftains reiterated.
