The Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travels and Tours, Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, has come under increasing public scrutiny as several individuals have gone online to accuse the travel consultant of mishandling visa transactions and failing to deliver on promised travel services.
The allegations, which have spread across social media and public forums, involve claims that many clients paid large amounts of money for visa processing that did not materialize. According to those complaining, several of the promised travel arrangements remained unfulfilled long after payments were made.
Some testimonies online state that clients submitted their passports for visa applications and waited for months without receiving updates on biometrics, application progress, or travel documents. A number of individuals also claim that their attempts to request refunds or communicate with Onukwubiri were met with delays, unanswered messages, or in some cases alleged blocking on social media.
Despite the rising number of complaints, there has been no official statement or investigation report from law enforcement or travel regulatory bodies. Major national news platforms have also not confirmed any legal action against Onukwubiri, leaving the online claims as unverified allegations pending formal clarification.
TMT Travels and Tours, based in Owerri, has operated for more than a decade, offering visa assistance, travel consulting, and international tour services. The company has previously been recognized for its involvement in tourism promotion and charitable activities through the Ifeanyi Onukwubiri Care Foundation.
The recent wave of complaints has led to calls for more transparency regarding the companys visa processing methods and client service procedures. Some observers have advised affected individuals to contact consumer protection agencies or pursue official complaint channels.
As of the time of this report, neither Onukwubiri nor TMT Travels has released a public response addressing the allegations.
