The heat for political alliance is gathering political momentum as political egg -heads ,media strategists and opinion moullders again converged at the palatial residence of Emekuku born business morgul and Imo finesse Democrat, Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho on Easter Monday.
The gathering was a forum with discussions on how to actualize the Imo state charter of Equity towards Owerri zone producing the next occupant of Imo Douglas House come January 2028.
Though the scheming has already started ahead of the forth coming party primaries, from this month. Indications portend fiece horse trading as political configurations are facing hurdles from the ruling party APC and the electoral umpire INEC.
Hon. Dr. Chief Fidel Onyeneke, media strategists and consultant who fielded questions with Journalists, stated that Owerri zone are poised to produce a successor to H/E Distn. Senator Hope Uzodinma as next occupant of Imo Douglas House come 2027.
Chief Fidel, one time Imo NUJ boss and currently serving as Seclog , Owerri -West council area appealed to other zones particularly Okigwe people to join hands across party platforms to support one candidate that would emerge after party Congresses . He said Owerri is blessed with plurality of eminently qualified political leaders to pilot the affairs of the state.

Earlier the Chief host , Sir Capt. Emmanuel Iheanacho in a chat with Newsmen expressed Pleasures that Owerri people are more united than ever towards the realization of the noble vision of producing best hand who would be accepted across Owerri , Okigwe and Orlu.
The Imo Harmony convener who is an avowed Democrat said the Raposhimour is truly going to engage leaders and people in Okigwe and Orlu on the need for Owerri to be given the Opportunity .
Chief Iheanacho insists that Imo needs peace , sincerity , integrity and honour in selecting the governorship hopeful as no one zone alone will decide at the polls.
Eminent leaders that graced the event include Chief Frank Nneji, Dr Shar Azu Okorie, Chief Vitalis Ogueri, Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, Prince Alex Mbata, Prince Uchaghara, Dr. Onyeneke Fidel, and lots more .
Our Correspondent observed that the game is now amongst parties not individuals even though the ruling party APC seem to be scheming ahead of others.
