The Governor Elect of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to his long time friend and brother of over 22 years, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the State House in Abuja.
During the warm and cordial meeting, President Tinubu received Prof Soludo with his usual hospitality, broad smile, and open arms. The President again congratulated the Governor Elect on his resounding victory in the recently concluded Anambra State governorship election.
President Tinubu described the election outcome as a clear affirmation of the trust and confidence the people of Anambra have placed in Soludos leadership and in a shared vision for a more secure and prosperous state. He commended the commitment of Ndi Anambra to democratic values and expressed optimism about the future of the state under Soludos administration.
Prof Soludo expressed deep gratitude to President Tinubu for being among the first national leaders to send a congratulatory message on election day and for his continued goodwill and support for Anambra State. He noted that the Presidents encouraging words reflect a shared belief in unity, progress, and cooperation for development.
Soludo emphasized that Nigeria remains one united nation and that with God guiding the leaders, they will work together to build the Anambra and the Nigeria of their collective dreams. He added that the partnership for development goes beyond politics and focuses on improving the lives of the people.
