Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has described the recent seizure of a Nigerian-owned supertanker by United States authorities as a critical moment for national reflection and reform, urging decisive action to protect Nigeria’s economic future.
Reacting to the development, Obi stated that the incident should serve as a wake-up call for the country, stressing that large-scale crude oil theft continues to drain billions of dollars from Nigeria’s economy and undermine its global standing.
