The administrative heads of a well registered Structural Development Firm, popularly known as Valentino Da Vinci Ltd that reconstructed the Orie Okporo Market Structures into a modern market, wish to officially notify the general public that measures have been processed at the appropriate authorities as to facilitate their resolve to go into the market from the 1st of October 2026 and ensure the peaceful recovery of its delayed fair share of the investment from the traders who took possession, but could not comply with the official allocation and sales price agreement since 2020 when the shops were satisfactorily built and released.
In a well elucidated letter of appreciation and notification of intent, sent to Okporo Autonomous Communities, the Imo State Government, the Orlu Local Government Council, and the Okporo leaders, the company , Valentino Da Vinci (Nig Ltd) cited the memorandum of understanding between the Okporo Communities, the Imo State Government and the developer, Valentino Da Vince Nig Ltd. The management complained that as result of the insecurity which bedeviled Okporo in the past and the beneficiaries' nonchalant attitude in compliance to the financial terms , the company has incurred a huge loss and could not make any returns from the market.
According to the tune of the letter, which has been attached here in page 6 as a public notice, " we are heavily indebted as the loan obtained for the construction of the market continues to accrue interest. "Please take notice, that our company will move into the market with effect from 1st October 2026 for debt recovery ''
Meanwhile, the special panel committee on Orie Okporo Market crisis has through their Chairman, Chief ( Prof.) Peter Aka, expressed gratitude to Valentino Da Vinci for the release of the shops as requested.
