Imo Based Doctor, Uzoegbu Receives Award At Mother’s Day

A renowned Medical Doctor and founder of Christ Kingdom Orphanage Dr. John Uzoegbu has received a prestigious award from Catholic Women Organization of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Orji Mission as part of the epoch making 2024 Mothering Sunday Celebration.
The event which took place on Sunday 14th of April at the Church Auditorium of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church Orji Mission witnessed the presence of women of timber and calibre including top professionals and business women in Imo State under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Justine Unamma, the Parish Priest and a visiting officiating priest.
Dr. Uzoegbu who bagged the prestigious Ezidi award by the church women Organization expressed joy over the honour done to him, noting that such an honour from the Women Organization is a unique one. The front line medical practitioner has been described as a health specialist who has made positive impact in the lives of people in his community and beyond.
Prior to the award, the Visiting Priest who officiated at the event admonished mothers and other members of the family to know their roles in the family. In furtherance, the award recipient who received the accolade for his selfless service and worthy contribution towards the women Organisation project and the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mission (IHM), told Journalists that he is very happy to receive the great award as Ezidi which the woman find him worthy as a good husband to his wife.
Also speaking with news men, the wife of Dr. John Uzoegbu, Mrs. Juliana Uzoegbu express happiness over the honour done to her husband during the mother’s Celebration of the catholic women organization, adding that she is very very happy and advice follow women to keep supporting her husband spiritually and physically.
Brother to the award recipient, Chukwukere Uche (Ogbuefi) said Dr. Uzoegbu have made numerous philanthropic gestures including donation of building materials and other items and apartments to churches, widows, and the needy in the society.
