Barely one month before the forthcoming Imo State Local Governments election, stakeholders of Orlu Council Area ranging from different groups have endorsed Hon. Henry IKenna Egwuatu popularly known as “Ozuomee” for Chairmanship seat.
Hon. Egwuatu has been adjourned to be the best choice for Orlu people through an opinion poll conducted by our correspondent recently.
Recall that some of the Orlu indigenes spotted within Orlu Township described Hon. Egwuatu as a grassroot politician who have the needs of Orlu people on his finger tips.
According to them,”Hon. Egwuatu popularly known as “Ozuome” has the capacity and needed requirements to occupy the number one seat of Orlu Local Government Area.
We are ready to vote for “Ozuomee” in the forthcoming Local Government election.
Our decision to elect him our LGA Chairman cut across party lines. He is contesting under the ruling All Progressives Congress,APC,but we have a collective decision to deliver him.
Orlu has two political blocs,Orsu and Isu clans. Isu clan is currently occupying Imo State House of Assembly seat. While it’s the turn of Orsu clan to produce the Executive Chairman of Orlu Local Government. And we are happy that Hon. Egwuatu hails from Orsu clan.
APC members should please vote for Ozuomee in their forthcoming primary elections. So,we congratulate him in advance”.
Below are the groups that have endorsed Ozuomee for Orlu Chairmanship; Orlu Zone Association in USA led by Mazi Dike as National,Iheoma United Citizens led by Chief Cliff Madueke,Iheoma Social Cultural Forum led by Dr. Sab Okoye as National Coordinator, Orlu APC Leaders of Thought and Wards Officers led by Dr. Emma Enyinnaya(Isibude) and Chief Peter Okolie(Ezinwa n’ Orlu), Orlu People’s Mandate led by Chief A. I. August as Chairman and Mr. Kris Dim as Secretary, Orlu Students Association led Uwaezuoke Shedrack Chibueze as President and Okonkwo Chimezie as Secretary.
