King Dr. Saro Wiwa Oguche Jacob , Owerri popular Bongo musician painted Awaka ancient Communities last weekend ,as his in-law, Daniel Ejike Ekezie Amadi was laid to rest.
The deceased, Dan Ejike Ekezie Amadi who passed on at 75; a fulfilled and an accomplished community leader in Umuodu Awaka , Owerri- North local government Council, Imo state was amongst the community leaders that stood for truth , justice and equity in all issues.

These were the submissions of King Dr. Oguche Jacob , aka Saro Wiwa. He stated as a celebrity , I have no reason not to accord my in law , a befitting farewell , hence my friends, Associates even members of the in forth estate , both print and electronic are gathered at this funeral.
” In Awaka , two people made my life sweet, my father in-law who is being buried today and the late Ezekochie , Hrm Eze Dr. David Akujuobi Osuagwu symbolizing what God wants in men.” Am going to miss my father in-law while I pray God to give my wife, Lolo Ijeoma Oguche Jacob the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss .
The ceremony which attracted digntries from far and near saw the Clerk of Imo the House of Assembly , Chief Mrs Barrister Chinelo Emeghara, the Eze Elect for Awaka , Chief Sunday Osuagwu, many clergy and laity and honourable House of Assembly leaders in attendance as well as Isukwuato inlaws.

Mr Charles Chigozie Amadi, first son of pa Dan Amadi in a chat with Newsmen thanked the crowd as he said his late father was a humour pack which earned him a name as Enyi umuokorobia. He was a good counselor to many while alife . I have prayed God to offer his soul a place in His bossom .

Our reporter who covered the burial ceremonies recalled that Saro Wiwa, a Bongo music crony with many artists entertained guests in form of a carnival arrangements.
