In a remarkable display of humility and compassion, former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, MFR, commemorated his 61st birthday by reaching out to orphans, the underprivileged, and some of the most marginalized members of society in Owerri.
The celebration, themed “Journey of Grace,” reflected Prince Madumere’s long-standing dedication to service and humanity. Rather than host a lavish party, he chose to mark the day by giving back to those in need, continuing a tradition that has become a hallmark of his personal and public life.
The day’s activities began at Prince FM Radio House in the Ikenegbu area of Owerri, where the former deputy governor was joined by political allies, friends, and well-wishers. From there, a convoy moved to St. Paul’s Catholic Church along Douglas Road, where essential items were distributed to the poor in a public charity outreach.
The celebration continued with a visit to the Nigerian Red Cross Motherless Babies Home, located near the Emmanuel College axis. The environment was filled with joy as music, laughter, and dancing brought smiles to the faces of children and caregivers alike. The ceremonial cake-cutting, held at the Red Cross Home, served as the emotional high point of the day—symbolizing unity, compassion, and hope.
Throughout the outreach, Prince Madumere’s actions spoke volumes about his commitment to the welfare of the less privileged. The event served as a reaffirmation of his belief that true leadership is measured not in titles or positions, but in one’s impact on human lives.
Public figures and community leaders in attendance hailed the former Deputy Governor’s selflessness and consistency in supporting orphaned children and vulnerable populations across the state.
The celebration of Prince Eze Madumere’s 61st birthday was more than a personal milestone—it was a deeply symbolic act of servant leadership, reinforcing a legacy built on empathy, humility, and enduring compassion.
