The Federal Government has announced a nationwide freeze on admissions and transfers into Senior Secondary School Three (SS3) for both public and private schools.
Issued by the Federal Ministry of Education, the move aims to crack down on examination malpractice and ensure smooth continuity in teaching and learning. Authorities believe that stopping mid-year entries will protect the integrity of exams and guarantee that students complete their senior secondary education without disruptions.
Schools have been directed to enforce the ban strictly while focusing on preparing current SS3 students for their final examinations, ensuring a more disciplined and secure academic environment.
