Today, 29th December 2025, at his residence, Hilltop Mansion, Ezieama in Ikeduru, Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi distributed over 100 million naira in cash alongside bags of rice to constituents. The Christmas goodwill gesture brought relief and joy to many families across the constituency, especially amid prevailing economic challenges.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hon. Amadi said the initiative was designed to support households, promote inclusiveness, and ensure that constituents shared in the joy of the festive season. He restated his commitment to people-focused leadership and grassroots development.
The lawmaker, who represents Mbaitoli and Ikeduru Federal Constituency, also announced plans for a massive empowerment programme slated for Easter 2026. He explained that the empowerment initiative will include the distribution of over one hundred mini buses and cars to constituents, aimed at supporting transportation businesses, creating jobs, and encouraging economic self-reliance.
Constituents in attendance expressed appreciation for the timely intervention, describing it as a reflection of responsive and people-oriented representation. Many commended Hon. Amadi for his efforts in prioritizing the welfare and development of the people at the grassroots level.
