Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has expressed confidence that the state will successfully overcome its current challenges with the support and guidance of God. He gave the assurance while addressing residents, stressing the importance of faith, unity, and resilience in navigating difficult times.
Governor Fubara noted that although the state may be facing political, economic, and social pressures, these challenges are not insurmountable. According to him, divine backing, combined with the collective efforts of the people, will steer Rivers State toward stability, peace, and sustainable development.
He urged residents to remain calm, law-abiding, and hopeful, emphasizing that his administration remains committed to protecting democratic values and prioritizing the welfare of the people. The governor reaffirmed his dedication to good governance, transparency, and inclusive leadership, assuring citizens that no effort would be spared in addressing the state’s concerns.
Fubara also called on religious leaders and communities to continue praying for the state, noting that spiritual support plays a crucial role in fostering unity and moral strength. He encouraged Rivers people to stand together, resist division, and work collectively for the progress of the state.
