It was a profound honour and privilege to host former Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, at my residence during his recent visit. His presence was deeply meaningful, particularly as it coincided with my birthday, making the occasion even more memorable. Beyond the warmth of the visit, his thoughtful words of encouragement and commendation for the progress being made in Abia State were truly uplifting.
During our discussions, Professor Osinbajo reflected on the importance of purposeful and people-centred leadership. He emphasized that the true essence of public service lies in policies and actions that directly improve the lives of citizens. His insights, drawn from years of national leadership experience, served as both inspiration and affirmation of the direction we have chosen in prioritizing the welfare, peace, and sustainable development of our people.
I am sincerely grateful for his prayers, mentorship, and enduring friendship. His recognition of our administration’s efforts in strengthening social welfare systems, expanding infrastructure, and enhancing security reinforces our determination to remain focused and disciplined in governance. Such encouragement from a respected statesman further motivates us to intensify our reforms and deliver measurable progress across all sectors.
I also extend heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished guests, friends, and partners who joined in celebrating the occasion and offering their goodwill. With faith in God and the continued support of Abians, we remain committed to building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Abia State where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive.
