Hon. Chief Emmanuel Ifuma, Chief of Protocol to the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone), Senator Osita Izunaso, OFR, has disclosed that the relationship between Governor Hope Uzodimma and his principal remains cordial and brotherly despite growing political discussions surrounding the 2027 Orlu Zone Senate seat.
Speaking amid speculations over the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial ticket for Orlu Zone, Ifuma stated that Governor Uzodimma, who has reportedly positioned strongly within the party ahead of the 2027 elections, still maintains deep respect and mutual understanding with Senator Izunaso.
According to him, Senator Izunaso sees Governor Uzodimma not only as a political ally but also as a younger brother, stressing that both leaders have continued to sustain a long-standing relationship built on loyalty, trust, and shared political interests.
He further noted that political ambitions should not be misinterpreted as signs of division, adding that both prominent APC figures remain committed to the unity, progress, and stability of the party in Imo State and the Orlu political zone.
