The delegates were reportedly preparing to travel for crucial party events but faced logistical challenges due to the delay in fund disbursement.
According to unverified reports circulating on social media, several delegates were left waiting for hours, with some forced to cover travel and accommodation costs personally or postpone their trips entirely. The incident, if confirmed, raises questions about coordination and communication within the party during major political activities.
Critics have alleged that Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration did not ensure timely release of the funds, though no official statement has yet been issued by either the Lagos State Government or the APC leadership.
