In a celebration of service and leadership, the Secretary to the Ikeduru Local Government Council, Hon. Chief Bright Ahamefule, known as Kpakpandu, has been given the Excellent Leadership Award by the Imo State Local Government Information Officers.
The award was presented during the second edition of the council’s annual program, an event to recognize outstanding leaders within Imo State’s local government system. This is the first time the Excellent Leadership Award has been presented, making Chief Ahamefule the one of the recipient.
Chief Bright Ahamefule was praised for his leadership, dedication to transparent and inclusive governance, and efforts in advancing the development of Ikeduru Local Government Area. His approach to administration, based on accountability, accessibility, and grassroots empowerment, has earned respect across political and community lines.
While presenting the award on behalf of the Information Officers, a spokesperson said that Chief Ahamefule represents the kind of leadership needed in Imo State’s local government system.
This award is a testament to his leadership and commitment to public service, said the representative of the Imo State Local Government Information Officers.
The ceremony brought together dignitaries, media professionals, stakeholders, and community leaders, all of whom recognized Chief Ahamefule’s service and impact.
With this recognition, Hon. Chief Bright Ahamefule joins a group of leaders working to bring positive change in Imo State through integrity, innovation, and people focused governance.
