Councillorship aspirant for Amaraku Ward in the forthcoming Imo LG Elections, Chiedozie Runcie Ikeri, has eulogized Governor Hope Uzodimma over his Supreme Court victory.
Speaking to our reporter in Owerri on Saturday, Chiedozie Runcie Ikeri, said the victory is well deserved as the APC Candidate scored the highest votes in the November 11 2023 Imo State Off-Cycle Guber Election because of his numerous achievements recorded in his first tenure.
The Councillorship aspirant who has been actively supporting the policies and programs of the 3R Administration championed by Governor Hope Uzodimma, said the victory is a victory for the people and internal democracy.
“The Supreme Court victory which lawfully revalidated and authenticated the guber election victory of Governor Hope Uzodimma is worthwhile and would allow for more sterling performance aimed at improving social development and economic prosperity in the state. I’m very happy for the Executive Governor of Imo State and the APC”.
“Affirmatively, Governor Hope Uzodimma is truly dymystifying good leadership evidenced in his numerous quality road construction and rehabilitation, youth and women empowerment and health sector improvement, among many achievements”, the aspirant reflected.
While appealing to Amaraku Ward APC members to consider him fit and worthy and choose him during the primary election to fly the Councillorship Ticket of the party in the Ward, Ikeri promised that he will do well in Isiala Mbano Legislative Council.
“I will not disappoint APC if I am given the mandate to represent Amaraku Ward in Isiala Mbano Legislative Council. Because I will follow the footsteps of Governor Hope Uzodimma, as well as maintain loyalty to the party leaders. I will not disappoint the people of Amaraku Ward who are very expectan of enjoying”, he added.
