In a recent appointment that highlights his extensive experience in journalism and advocacy for youth empowerment, Imo State-based journalist and barrister, Hon. Bright C. Eluagu, has been named the official Media Aide to the Imo State Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Hon. Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu.
Announcing the milestone through his social media on November 4, 2024, Eluagu shared a message of gratitude and pride, attributing this achievement to dedication, integrity, and unyielding commitment to his work. “Reward follows hard work, steadfast loyalty, and uncompromising honesty,” he expressed, acknowledging the significance of this new role.
Eluagu took a moment to reflect on Dr. Ukaegbu’s progressive leadership, praising him for his initiatives aimed at uplifting the youth across the state. Since assuming office under the guidance of Governor Hope Uzodimma, Dr. Ukaegbu has spearheaded impactful programs, aligning with the Imo State administration’s 3-R mantra of Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, and Recovery. According to Eluagu, these efforts are bringing measurable and meaningful progress to the lives of young people in Imo State.
