IHENWOSU PARTNERS WITH TRADITIONAL RULERS TO BATTLE INSECURITY IN IMO.

The National Commander Boarder Security in Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) ACG – Ihenwosu Chijioke C. has vowed to partner with the traditional rulers in Imo State to  restore safety of lives and property.

Speaking to newsmen in owerri Imo State recently,  the  Assistant Commander General (ACG) Ihenwosu Chijioke assured that it is possible to end the challenge of  insecurity in Imo State, if the traditional rulers of various communities in Imo State will partner with the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) hence there will be no hiding place for the criminals and kidnappers in the forest areas. 

Again,  ACG – Ihenwosu C. C. pointed out that  every traditional rulers knew the youths and people in his community hence to fish out the criminals among them will be easy. He expressed confidence on his progressive discussions for partnership with the Imo State council of traditional rulers led by HRM Eze Emmanuel Okeke to ensure a permanent end to insecurity in the State. Hence,  seek the support of the Imo State government for the recruitment of Imo youths into the Nigeria Forest Security Service. 

According to ACG- Ihenwosu Chijioke he said, ” It is the responsibility of the State governors to give maximum support for the recruitment of youths , we can not do it alone but with the support of government and constituted authorities. In fact,  is possible to end insecurity in Imo State and beyond through effective collaboration with critical stakeholders and security agencies . Again,  once the recruitment are made from various communities in the state,  we will take over the forest’s and chase out the criminals.  Then Imo people will sleep with their two eye closed”.
