Amaechi Vows to End Corruption in 30 Days or Quit if Elected President

by admin

Former Transportation Minister and ex-Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, says he will wipe out corruption in Nigeria within one month if elected president in 2027 — or resign from office.

Speaking during an X Space discussion, Amaechi promised to amend the constitution to replace “indigeneship” with “citizenship,” alleging that influential figures routinely loot funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He also branded INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu as the “worst” in the nation’s history, challenged FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to test his popularity in Port Harcourt, and vowed not to reinstate fuel subsidies but instead channel savings directly to ordinary Nigerians.
