Distinguished members of the press, ladies and gentlemen. It is with great pleasure and a profound sense of responsibility that I welcome you all to this World Press Conference, THEME:
THE PATH TO 2027 General Election The South SPEAKS…
We are gathered here today to articulate ASDN’s definitive position regarding the upcoming 2027 general elections and to address other critical matters pertinent to the welfare and future of Southern Nigeria.
At the outset, let me state unequivocally that the All Southern Decides Network will not be involved in any coalition / any other party activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Our resolve on this matter is firm and unyielding.
ASDN operates as a cohesive force, representing the collective interest, aspirations and decisions of the seventeen (17) Southern States in Nigeria.
Our strength lies in our unity, our independent voice, and our unwavering commitment to the principles we stand for which is: (Touch One! Touch All) We believe that our unique structure and direct mandate from the Southern populace, position us effectively to advocate for the interests of our people without the complexities often associated with directionless coalition politics centered on self interest and personal greed.
Furthermore, the All Southern Decides Network stands on an unwavering solidarity with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and hereby declaring our stand by endorsing the completion of eight-year tenure as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This position is not merely a political stance; it is in recognition of his unprecedented outstanding achievements and transformative reforms initiated by his administration. We have observed, with keen interest and appreciate Mr President’s commitment to good governance, demonstrated through significant economic reforms that has led to Nigeria stable Economy and our nation’s financial landscape, the provision of essential humanitarian aid to vulnerable populations, robust investments in human capital development, vital infrastructural development projects across the country, and strategic regional development initiatives that are fostering growth and progress
President Tinubu GCFR has taken the difficult part to ensure Local Government Autonomy to help bring the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroot across the 774 LGA in Nigeria, etc.
These achievements clearly upheld our belief that President Tinubu is steering Nigeria towards a path of sustained development and prosperity. It is therefore our collective conviction, and also calling on all Southern Nigerians to stand by president Tinubu in order for him to consolidate these gains and complete the mandate of serving Nigerians for another four years come 2027.
In light of the upcoming electoral cycle, ASDN strongly urge all Southern Citizens to go and get their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) handy. The PVC is not just a card; it is your voice, your power, and your instrument to help shape the future of our dear nation Nigeria In line with our collective destiny.
More so, we are glad to announce that ASDN is currently spearheading an ongoing nationwide campaign on Continuous Voter Registration (CVR). Our dedicated coordinators and volunteers are actively mobilizing citizens across all wards and local government areas in the Southern States, encouraging them to register, update their details, and collect their PVCs. We believe that a robust and participatory electorate is the bedrock of a thriving democracy, and we are committed to ensuring that every eligible Southern Nigerian has the opportunity to participate in the democratic process.
It is noteworthy that the seventeen (17) Southern States are firmly backing our Great Grand Leader of ASDN, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
This collective support is a testament to his visionary leadership and the confidence reposed in his ability to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda which promises good governance and national development.
All Southern Decides Network (ASDN), representing this formidable bloc, shall put all mechanisms in place before and during the forthcoming election to help renew the Mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
Our commitment to this cause is resolute.
In line with this, ASDN is thrilled to announce its preparations to host the 2025 National Mega Rally & Carnival in Abuja, and subsequently across the 17 southern states.
This landmark event, themed: “Renew the Mandate,” will serve as a powerful demonstration of our collective resolve and enthusiasm for the good work president Tinubu is doing.
We will converge, all 17 Southern States Coordinators, alongside their respective Local Government Area Coordinators, in a grand display of unity and purpose. This rally will not only be a celebration of our shared heritage but also a strategic gathering to galvanize support and strategize for the decisive electoral outcome in 2027.
I must also highlight that ASDN possesses a robust database of its members, meticulously linked with their PVCs. This underscores our organizational strength, our commitment to accountability, and our readiness to effectively mobilize our members when the time comes. We are not just a network; we are a formidable electoral force, a Network Movement focused on achieving result.
Finally, we wish to express our profound appreciation to His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, president of the federal Republic of Nigeria for his exemplary leadership and May God continue to bless Nigeria now and always.
