Startling revelations have incredibly emerged from Amanator Okporo, Autonomous Community, in Orlu LGA over their ongoing alleged case of Community Constitution forgery , Impersonation and conducts likely to cause breach of peace, which is in the police case files number CB 7000/IGP/SEC/ABJ VOL.841/I36 and CB7000/IGP/SEC/ABJ/F71 being leveled against one Mr. Emmanuel Izuka, Mr Jude Onwude and one Mr. Chima Ibenye Ugbala, a son to their late monarch, Late HRH Eze VNC Ibenye Ugbala and others who were reportedly too desperate to usurp the Ezeship throne of the Community.
It was recently gathered that the already aggrieved Amanator Okporo Community have unequivocally, resolved and mandated that the above mentioned suspects who are also members of the community should immidiately be prosecuted including their hired Owerri based commercial typist who has given a credible evidence and kindly refused to deny her own roles when she was arrested by the AIG tactical team in zone 9 Umuahia.
In compliance, with section 123/139 of the evidence Act, the village heads, the custodians and the President General of Amanator Okporo, have gone further, to uncover the forged sections of the Community Constitution and a long time hidden official letter, where the signature of the Community President General, Chief John Egeolu and his official status were conspiringly forged in desperation to schematically claim the Kingship Certificate of Recognition and the Staff of Office from the State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs. The said letter, was signed by Mr. Emmanuel Izuka as a cabinet secretary on 30th of January, 2023 and officially acknowledged by the State Ministry on the 31st day of January but according to the President General Chief Egeolu, the said Emmanuel Izuka that signed the controversial letter, was on 14th of March 2019, indefinitely suspended as both the palace Secretary and Cabinet Chief by the late Monarch and was never recalled by the late traditional ruler that suspended him.
Therefore, it is criminal for Mr Izuka who has been on suspension to defile the rules, and sign an official letter for the community.
A copy of the impersonation letter which has equally been handed over to police, was titled ” AN APPLICATION TO PAY FOR STAFF OF OFFICE & CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION”.
Fielding further questions from newsmen on his role to the purported letter, the President General, Chief John Egeolu stated that he has truly convinced his people that his signature was forged by the suspects. That he must apply every lawfull measure to get them punished. He narrated how the suspects also changed the sections of the Community Constitution that affirmed rotating kingship ,into heriditory because they want to deceive the court, the law enforcement agencies and the unsuspecting members of the public. He explained that their Constitution came into action with the creation of Amanator Okporo Autonomous Community and was equally used as a guide to bury the late monarch, late HRH, Eze VNC Ibenye Ugbala. He also recalled that on the 22nd of March, 2025, himself as the PG, led the entire Community , to protest against the Ezeship Staff of Office, which the said Mr Chima Ibenye Ugbala and his cohorts hijacked from the State Government. That they advanced the said protest up to a competent court of jurisdiction and got a victorious judgement on the 26th day of June 2025. A judgement, he said, was well celebrated like a carnival.
Sequel to the court judgement, the community published a communique mandating, the Sons of the late Ibenye Ugbala to submit the Ezeship facilities in their possession to the rightful village whose turn it is, to produce the new traditional ruler and that, both Mr Chima Ibenye Ugbala, should not attempt to plunge the community into any form of misunderstanding.
Sections 484 & 485 of the criminal code provides that anybody who presents himself as another person and acts in the name of that person without any lawful excuse to do so, is quilty of felony and liable to imprisonment for seven years.
