In what can only be described as a defining moment in the political evolution of Imo State, Hon. Chief Bright Ahamefule, SECLOG of Ikeduru Local Government Area, has applauded the purposeful and strategic leadership of Hope Uzodinma for successfully guiding the All Progressives Congress (APC) through peaceful, transparent, and inclusive congresses across the state.
Describing the exercise as historic and exemplary, Hon. Ahamefule noted that the calm, orderly, and credible atmosphere that defined the congresses reflects Governor Uzodinma’s commitment to internal democracy, party cohesion, and grassroots development. At a time when political processes are often marked by tension and division, he observed that the APC in Imo has distinguished itself as a model of maturity, constructive dialogue, and collective resolve.
According to him, the congresses went beyond routine political activities; they represented a strategic consolidation of the party’s structure strengthening its foundation from the ward level to the state leadership. The inclusive approach adopted throughout the process ensured broad participation, giving party faithful across all local governments a voice and a sense of belonging. This has helped deepen trust, solidarity, and confidence within the party.
Hon. Ahamefule also extended congratulations to the newly elected executives at the ward, local government, and state levels. He expressed optimism that their emergence signals renewed energy, innovation, and strategic coordination further positioning the APC as a dominant political force in Imo. He urged the new leadership to maintain unity, prioritize service to the people, and build on the achievements already recorded.
