The South East Special Leader(Persons with Disabilities)of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Hon. Dr. Stanley Nwachukwu, has congratulated the Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, on his appointment as the National Chairman of the APC Campaign Council, describing the development as a well-deserved recognition of the governor’s leadership qualities, political experience, and unwavering commitment to the growth of the ruling Party.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Dr. Nwachukwu stated that Governor Uzodimma’s appointment did not come as a surprise, noting that the governor has consistently distinguished himself as one of the party’s most dependable leaders through his dedication, strategic leadership, and commitment to strengthening the APC across the country.
According to him, the appointment is not only a personal honour to Governor Uzodimma but also a significant milestone for the South East geopolitical zone, as it reflects the growing confidence the national leadership of the APC has in leaders from the region.
He maintained that Governor Uzodimma has continued to demonstrate uncommon political maturity and administrative competence, qualities that have earned him respect within and outside the party.
Dr. Nwachukwu expressed confidence that the Imo State governor would bring his wealth of experience to bear in coordinating the affairs of the Campaign Council, ensuring unity among party stakeholders and delivering on the responsibilities entrusted to him.
The APC Special Citizens Chairman further described Governor Uzodimma as a bridge-builder whose leadership style has continued to promote inclusiveness, peace, and political stability within the party.
He noted that members of the APC Special Citizens across the South East received the news of the appointment with excitement, expressing optimism that it would further strengthen the Party’s structures and electoral fortunes.
While congratulating the governor, Dr. Nwachukwu urged Party faithful across the federation to rally behind the Campaign Council Chairman by offering their total support and cooperation to ensure the successful execution of the council’s mandate.
He emphasized that unity, discipline, and commitment remain essential ingredients for the continued progress of the APC, adding that Governor Uzodimma possesses the capacity to provide the leadership required to achieve the Party’s objectives.
The South East Special leader also commended the national leadership of the APC for what he described as a thoughtful and merit-based appointment, stressing that recognising experienced Party leaders would continue to inspire confidence among members and deepen internal democracy.
Dr. Nwachukwu reaffirmed the commitment of the APC Special Citizens in the South East to supporting the ideals and programmes of the party, while assuring Governor Uzodimma of the unwavering solidarity and prayers of members as he assumes his new responsibility.
He prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and good health for the Governor, expressing confidence that his tenure as Chairman of the Campaign Council would record remarkable success and further consolidate the APC’s position as Nigeria’s leading political party.
