The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) has dismissed recent allegations of corruption, describing the claims as unfounded. The company said it operates within established rules and maintains transparency in its activities.

In a statement, the NDPHC addressed concerns about the Managing Director’s use of private jets, explaining that such flights were approved only for official duties. According to the company, certain inspections and project visits require fast and secure travel, especially when multiple sites must be covered within tight schedules.

The management explained that the flights were not for personal use but were linked to work-related tasks involving power infrastructure across different locations. It added that all travel expenses follow due process and are properly documented in line with government guidelines.

The company urged the public to disregard what it described as misleading information aimed at creating confusion. It said it will continue to follow all procedures required by oversight agencies while focusing on its work of improving electricity projects in the country.
