Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji has publicly expressed strong support for Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as the most suitable leader for the country while highlighting what he sees as the administration’s inclusive approach toward the Southeast.
Speaking in a recent interview, Orji commended Tinubu for appointing individuals of Igbo origin into key positions within his government. According to the actor, such appointments reflect an effort to promote national unity and ensure that no region is left out of governance. He also pointed to initiatives, including policies and development efforts aimed at the Southeast, as further evidence of the president’s approach to inclusiveness.
Orji noted that Tinubu’s track record did not begin with his presidency. He recalled the president’s tenure as governor of Lagos State, where, he said, people from different ethnic backgrounds—including Igbos—were given opportunities to thrive in both public service and business. He maintained that, among those who have sought the presidency in recent years, Tinubu stands out as the most qualified to lead the nation toward stability and growth.
