A frontline aspirant for the local government executive chairmanship seat under the umbrella of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ihitte/Uboma local government area, Hon Godbless Nnaemeka Nzenwa(NEMEX) has vowed to render quality and selfless service to his people, if given the mandate to pilot the affairs of the local government as executive chairman.

Godbless Nzenwa who made the pledge in an interview with news men in Owerri, pointed out that the surest route to greatness in politics and public administration is by way of selfless service and sincerity of purpose.
NEMEX, an alumnus of Imo State University with Bachelors degree certificate in banking and finance coupled with a post graduate diploma in Education, posited that rendering quality service that could transform one’s own locality, the grassroots level is laying solid foundation for a better future.
” I am not seeking an opportunity to go and amass wealth as a local government chairman. Rather, I am seeking an opportunity to build my political future by doing well in service as local government chairman. This is the striking difference between me (NEMEX) and many others who are in the race”, Hon Nzenwa stated.
Godless Nzenwa who hails from Ihinna Umuihi Community of Ihitte/Uboma local government area commended all Ihitte/Uboma political leaders and past administrators of the local government for their contributions to the development of Ihitte/Uboma. “While commending all stakeholders for their contributions to the development and survival of Ihitte/Uboma, I want to assure all of us that my fundamental objective is to improve the achievements and service of those who occupied the chairmanship seat before now. I am out to serve my people and serve them well, so that I can boldly ask for another mandate tomorrow”, he further, explained.
The Umuihi Community son who is presently, the Managing director and Chief Executive of Lagos-based Nemex Automobile Nigeria and Belgravia Global Homes, Lekki Lagos argued that if resources accruing to the local government from the federation account and as internally generated revenues are properly applied in running the affairs of the local government, Ihitte/Uboma would become haven of a place.
” Just let me have the mandate to pilot the affairs of Ihitte/Uboma and the story will never be the same again. I will surely, rewrite the old narrative”, NEMEX who also, studied at the Nigerian Institute of Management concluded.
