In a remarkable show of leadership and commitment to the welfare of our constituents, The members of staff of Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi, the Honourable Member representing Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency, embarked on a project inspection tour today, April 28, 2025. The inspection team, led by the dynamic Director of the Constituency, Hon. Sir Chinedu Ugochukwu Obidinma, visited several ongoing constituency projects to assess progress and interact with the communities benefiting from these laudable initiatives.
First Stop: Umudim — A Warm Reception and Heartfelt Commendations
The inspection began at Inyishi/Umudim Ward, where the four classroom blocks attracted through the intervention of Hon. Akarachi Amadi is nearing completion. The atmosphere was festive, with an impressive turnout of community leaders, stakeholders, party faithful, and residents who came out to welcome the team.
A particularly touching moment was the presence of a revered clergyman, Rev. Father Kelechi, who, speaking on behalf of the community, lavished praises on Hon. Amadi for his timely and impactful intervention in the education sector. According to him, the classroom project was a “divine rescue mission” that would transform the educational experience for the children of Umudim.
Adding to the commendations, Chief Vitalis Ogueri, a respected political leader, lauded the new Constituency Director, Hon. Sir Chinedu Ugochukwu Obidinma, for his proactiveness, administrative dexterity, and political sagacity, noting that his leadership is already yielding visible results in terms of collaboration.
In a strong message of reassurance, Hon. Daniel Uche (Abuja) affirmed that the APC party structure in Ikeduru remains solidly united and loyal to Hon. Akarachi Amadi. He, however, emphasized the importance of inclusive leadership, urging that party leaders in Umudim and across the constituency be consistently carried along in all constituency activities and projects. His remarks resonated with many, including the Ward Chairman, Chief Onyegbulem(Eze Onye Okpu), who, while expressing profound joy over the classroom blocks, passionately appealed for even more developmental projects in the area.
Second Stop: Umuhu Atta — A Grateful Community Speaks
The inspection team proceeded to Umuhu Atta, where another crowd of enthusiastic residents awaited their arrival. The newly constructed three classroom blocks at Umuhu Atta, also attracted by Hon. Akarachi Amadi, received widespread acclaim. The sea of smiling faces and spontaneous chants of appreciation created an electric atmosphere of gratitude.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Anyaehe Okameme reiterated Hon. Amadi’s unwavering commitment to uplifting the lives of Ndi Mbaike through impactful representation and people-centered projects. In his remarks, Hon. Sir Chinedu Ugochukwu Obidinma, Director of the Constituency , expressed heartfelt gratitude for the community’s warm reception and reassured them that the present administration would not relent in its efforts to deliver on promises made.
Final Stop: Eke Iho — Inspecting Solar Water Scheme
The final leg of the inspection tour took the team to Eke Iho, where a completed solar-powered water scheme is constructed. A brief stopover allowed the delegation to assess the level of work done. It was observed that the project is completed and awaits commissioning, much to the delight of the inspection team and local residents.
In his closing remarks, Hon. Sir Chinedu Ugochukwu Obidinma expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work across the sites visited. He noted that the projects are on course for completion and commissioning in the coming weeks, assuring the people that Hon. Akarachi Amadi remains steadfast in his vision to improve infrastructure, education, and access to essential amenities across Mbaitoli/Ikeduru.
Today’s inspection tour once again it’s a prove of Hon. Engr. Akarachi Amadi’s dedication to purposeful representation. Through strategic leadership and the proactive efforts of his constituency team, Ndi Mbaike can look forward to a future of progress, unity, and great prosperity.
