In a determined effort to boost school enrollment, the Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB), in collaboration with the Owerri Municipal Local Government Education Authority (OWMUN LGEA), is organizing a sensitization and advocacy campaign to promote access to basic education for all children.

The event, scheduled for Wednesday, 3rd September 2025 at 10:00 AM, will be held at the Owerri Municipal Council Headquarters.

It targets parents, guardians, and community leaders, urging them to prioritize education by enrolling their children in public schools.

According to organizers, government schools across Imo State are now equipped with qualified teachers, improved learning facilities, and free instructional materials, creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for learners.

The campaign reinforces the state’s commitment to universal education, aiming to eliminate barriers to enrollment and ensure that every child receives the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
