The Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has declared that he will step down from office if President Bola Tinubu fails to secure victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Okpebholo made the statement during a television interview, where he expressed strong confidence in Tinubu’s chances of re-election. According to the governor, the developmental projects carried out in Edo with support from the federal government will translate into electoral success for the president.
