A renowned Imo clergy, author, and pastor of Christ Embassy Church Orji, pastor Emmanuel and his Co-Author Deaconess Meg Obiomah recently presented and unveiled their book titled “A Holiday to Remember”.
The book presentation cum, launch which took place at Christ Embassy Church Auditorium in the capital city of Owerri witnessed the presence of Church faithful, clergymen , women, friends family and high profiled personalities who graced the event, amongst whom is the wife of the Christ Embassy regional Pastor Pasor Mrs. Comfort Amiekenan, Publisher frontline newspaper Owerri Pastor Shirley Munonye and host of others personalities.
In her speech Pastor Shirley Munonye said “I saw this book, ordinarily I don’t read novels, I just started reading all through the night and finished it , it is a wonderful book ”
The book reviewers Hon. justice Eze , and Deaconess Obioma Elemba Ph.D described the book as a must read book , very wonderful for Christian families .
Speaking with newsmen after the event. Dr. Emmanuel Osoka expressed Happiness on the turnout of events. On the reason for writing the novel, he said “I found out that children and teenagers has unanswered questions, when they go outside and they get an answer they go astray, so I and my co-author decided to put up a book that will handle the challenge.
The renowned chemical engineer, seized the platform to urge Nigerians to uphold on the Bible principles he said the book “A Holiday to remember will soon be in 3D animated form, schools will make use of it and it will also be distributed through other channels to the young and old in Nigeria and beyond, so that the message enshrined in the book will get to the nooks and crannies.
Speaking on the theme, he said the title “A Holiday to Remember” was choosen for the family to have good memories in times of challenges.
In their respective speeches, Mr Charles Ukwuike, Pastor Ikechukwu Akan described the content of the book as a typical example of how a family should conduct themselves when they are on holiday, Pastor Akan said “ I recommend the book for everyone”.
According to their citations , Pastor Emmanuel Osoka is a contest creator , he holds a B.eng , M.sc , PH.D in chemical engineering , while Deconess Meg Obiomah is a gifted writer and story teller ” A Holiday To Remember ” is her second Story for Children and adults .
The book is an existing story based on true life events on how the destiny of an individual or family can be altered by some coincidental encounters , it also showcased how a holiday can change the destiny of a family forever , it is a must read for young people and adults.
