The Sole Administrator of Njaba Local Government Area, Hon Obikaeze Anaemem, has assured that he will unite Njaba people as well run an inclusive government so as every Njaba constituent will benefit and be part of the 3R administration of governor Hope Uzodinma.
Hon Obikaeze, gave the assurance at Njaba council headquarters, during the thanksgiving service tagged, ” Njaba Unity Thanksgiving” held in his honour.
The council boss whose political agenda is centered on unity pledged to bring unity and peace back to Njaba Local government.
” My Promise to Njaba people is that, I will do everything possible to unite Njaba no matter the differences . We must strive to achieve better tomorrow and prosperity . I want to run inclusive government in Njaba, and by the glory of God people from other political parties have started decamping to All Progressives Party . Any stakeholder I will approach in Njaba must listen to me because I am not moving on my own, rather am moving with the blessings and prayers of people” .
Hon Obikaeze expressed happiness on how people gathered in their numbers to celebrate and support him , he added that it means that unity has come to stay.
During the thanksgiving service, Rev Thomas Uchenna Iwueke , in his sermon maintained that is only God who elevates and blesses someone , and he does so at his appointed time . He described Hon Obikaeze’s appointment as a thing of miracle.
The immediate past Imo House Of Assembly Member that represented Njaba constituency , Rt Hon. Uju Onwudiwe ( Igolo Njaba ) , expressed happiness over Hon Obikaeze ‘s Appointment, she encouraged him to be steadfast, accommodating and be faithful to God. She advised him to carry everyone along in his administration . Mrs Onwudiwe, noted that lots of people want to join All Progressives Party ( APC) because of what governor Hope Uzodinma is doing for the Njaba people and Imo at large, but because of people handling the affairs of Njaba they find it hard to join . She added that with Hon Obikaeze as the Sole Administrator that she is assuring everybody that lots of turn around will happen in Njaba.
Mrs Onwudiwe, reminded the new council boss to understand the intension of the governor for giving him the chance to serve. Which according to her , is to bring peace, love and unity back to Njaba.
She described Hon Obikaeze’s as a grassroot politician and selfless leader whose leadership prowess speaks volumes in Njaba and Imo at large.
The immediate past Sole Administrator of Njaba, Hon Vitals Obi ( Etiokwe ), thanked governor Hope Uzodinma for his appointment. He expressed optimism that he will do marvelous well .
The event was graced by dignitaries within and outside Njaba Local Government, among them are , former Imo Commissioner For Health, Dr Bathy Okorochukwu , Hon Ozima Worship Ebonine , Hon Dr Dan Onumara , Hon Ibenjo Chigozie ( Gozie Abana) , among others.
