A frontline contestant for Ihitte-Uboma Council Chairmanship Seat in the forthcoming Imo LGA election, Dr. Okey Anukwem, has promised to empower youths, create room for talent hunt, attract people who can project them with these talents even beyond Africa, procure and subsidize mass transit, build and enhance infrastructure to encourage productivity, resourcefulness among the rural dwellers for even transformation of the agrarian locality.
Anukwem stated that he has requisite leadership and political experience that can enable him to redefine governance and thereby address the needs of the people square, saying his experience as a former Commissioner in the state is an added advantage to him.
Hence he appealed to the people of Ihitte-Uboma to see him fit and worthy for the Executive Chairmanship Seat and elect him, saying he will not disappoint them.
