St. Joseph’s Catholic Church receives Adaoma Owerri Catholic Archdiocese, lady Okorie

It was jubilation all through as St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Uzoagba in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State received  one of it’s illustrious daughters, Lady Olaedo Okorie Ijeoma Vivian (LSM), a worthy lady of Knights of St. Mulumba, who was honored with the prestigious Adaoma Owerri Catholic Archdiocese on October 26th, 2024 by His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Lucious Ugorji. 

Speaking during the grand reception of Adaoma Owerri Catholic Archdiocese, the Parish Priest incharge of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church applauded Olaedo Lady Ijeoma Okorie for her undying love and passion for the church of Christ. 

The cleric expressed his heart felt joy over the honor being bestowed on Lady Okorie who is a proud daughter of Uzoagba in Ikeduru Local Government Area of the State but was married to Chief Sir. Fort Okorie KSM of Owerri- Ebeiri in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State. 

The man of God disclosed that it was based on her immense contributions to the Church and her Community in general that made her people of Uzoagba to confer on her the prestigious title of Olaedo of Uzoagba in 2013.

He used the opportunity to call on other illustrious sons and daughters of Uzoagba to emulate the lady of the moment. 

The Cleric further call on all and sundry to join hands with the Adaoma Owerri Catholic Archdiocese to move the church and Community forward. 

Speaking earlier on, Adaoma Owerri Catholic Archdiocese thanked her home Church, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church for the warm reception accorded to her, saying that she do everything humanly possible not to disappoint them.

She expressed her heartfelt joy with the reception, maintaining that the memories of the wonderful reception will live with her for the rest of her life on earth. 

The lady many described as the lady of the masses applauded her husband, Chief Sir. Fort Okorie, Ogbuhuruzo 1 of Uzoagba and Otigbu Inyaya of Owerri-Ebeiri for all his supports and unconditional love he has shown her and her people.
