It is true that many may have kicked the bucket without a heir or a well wisher. Some pathed and left the people who were expected to give them befitting burials, but the people could not do the needful because the deceased persons may have lived an unexamined life.
But may Allah be praised that on the 5th of April, 2025, the hospitable people of Osun State will internalize another historic event as reports show that the osun leaders are happily agog to receive the top Police Chiefs, some States and the National Assemblies associates, Presidential appointees, the Imo State Governor’s entourage, the Police AIGs, the Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma and officers of the command who shall all storm Osun State for the final burial rights of our beloved father and grandfather, late RTD Hon. Alhaji Tijani Adewale Odeyeyiwa( The Aare Musulumi of Modakeke) the biological father to the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) Best Crime Burster Awardee , and Imo Police Commander for Anti-Kidnapping Unit (TIGER BASE) CSP Oladimeji Odeyeyiwa.
The late Ex police man , RTD HON. Alhaji Tijani Adewale Odeyeyiwa peacefully went back to the mother earth at the glorious and enviable age of 94. He was remarkably buried according to the Islamic doctrines. The vital point, is that the family, the village, town, states, the nation want to further celebrate him by what is called the Fidau Prayer because we all recognize and appreciate his fulfilled dreams, aspirations, his management of affairs, his deeds and his policies that are yielding the best results.
The Venue for the ceremony is Civics Centre Modakeke, Ife Central Osun State. The dress code for the family is blue& white ,while the purple code is for the guest and visitors. All the roads will lead to Osun to honour a genuine friend, an administrator par excellence, an ardent believer in the need to develop our society and one who worked assiduously for its attainment. He was a consummate technocrat and leader whose contributions,via the positions he held, will not be forgotten.
In Pa Alhaji Odeyeyiwa, the Yoruba and Nigerians at large, have lost a genius and trailblazer, a traditional icon, an astute public servant and philantropist who discharged his duties with fairness, equity, humility and truth. The death of a loved one is usually a painful experience especially for a caring father like pa Alhaji Adewale Odeyeyiwa. But I humbly entreat that CSP Oladimeji and his family members, should take solace from the legacy and positive impact he left behind in all spheres of life. He was a symbol of accomplishment, who will be missed for his unwavering service and dignified presence.
As we all join CSP Oladimeji to mourn, it is also vital to remember that to everything, there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven and life is but a pilgrimage of mortal who after their sojourn on earth, must return unto the creature.
