Seventy five years old man, Mr. Christopher Iwunze was said to have defie, impregnated a minor,( name withheld) from the same family in Umulolo Ndiama Umuehie Anara Community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State alongside his nephew, Mr. Osondu Iwunze and others like Ifeanyi Ewuzie and Okwukwe Uzoma,
According to an eyewitness account, the said minor was said to have joined her peers in search for sail during the night when three youngsters were said to have grabbed her and started to press her breast before the youths who were part of sail search in the bush caught them and reported the matter to the Umulolo kindred Vice chairman who later summoned the villagers to notify them about incest committed by them.
He noted that the Vice chairman of the kindred, Mr. Chinedu Uzoma gathered the villagers including women and youths of the village at the village square to notify about the new development which caused a very big uproars amongst the villagers.
The Vice chairman enjoined the minor to narrate what transpired between her and the youngsters they caught at the bush.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, the minor named named almost nine men including his uncle, Mr. Christopher Iwunze, his Nephew, Osondu Iwunze, Okwukwe Uzoma and his father, Mr. Chinedu Uzoma, the Vice chairman of the kindred.
The elders of the kindred used the opportunity to call on the Chairlady of the women wing to take the said girl with few Executives to further get the names of all the people involved in this abominable act perpetrated against the poor girl.
It was during the period of interrogations that the minor told them that the Vice chairman, Mr. Chinedu Uzoma touched her breast and she was taken to the hospital where they confirmed that she was pregnant.
It was discovered that the minor is a fatherless child with a mother that is not too mentally strong and a secondary School student.
She was taken advantage of and was repeatedly defiled by men ranging from 19 to 75 years old respectively.
The suspects were fined and were asked to culturally appease the land by the leadership of the kindred.
When our reporter contacted the mother of the minor, Mrs. Angela Onwanaka, she called on Nigerians and lovers of justice to come to her aide, saying that she wants justice for her daughter.
