Members of the Owerri Zurumee People’s Assembly joined dignitaries, friends, and well-meaning Nigerians to bid a heartfelt farewell to Late Lolo Margret Nkechinyere Mere, the beloved mother of Hon. Chief Dr. Victor Mere, a distinguished patron of the Assembly.
It was a moment of reflection and reverence as the community gathered to celebrate a life defined by strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment to family and faith. In honoring her, we also acknowledged the deep impact she made on all who knew her, and the enduring values she instilled in the generations she leaves behind.
As she was laid to rest on 25th of July, we prayed for God’s comfort upon her family and loved ones, and for divine peace to surround her soul. We believe she now rests safely in the Lord’s eternal embrace, where sorrow and pain are no more.
Late Lolo Margret Nkechinyere Mere, your legacy lives on.
Rest in peace.
