On the 25th day of July, I, Chief Wisdom Ekewuba, joined the good people of Owerri in Imo State and beyond to pay my last respects to Late Lolo Margret Nkechinyere Mere, the beloved mother of Hon. Chief Dr. Victor Mere, former member representing Owerri Municipal.
As she was laid to rest, I stood in solidarity with her family, friends, and well-wishers, praying that the Almighty God grants them strength and consolation in this time of loss. We humbly ask the Lord to welcome her soul into His eternal bosom and grant her peaceful rest until the glorious resurrection morning.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.
