The United States Air Force has confirmed that all six American service members aboard a military aircraft that crashed during operations in the Middle East have died.

The aircraft, identified as a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker refueling plane, went down during a mission over Iraq. Military officials said the plane was conducting an operational flight when the crash occurred. Rescue and recovery teams were immediately deployed to the scene, but none of the crew members survived.

Initial reports suggested that fewer casualties had occurred, but after further search and confirmation efforts, authorities confirmed that all six personnel on board were killed in the crash.

Officials also revealed that the aircraft was operating alongside another refueling plane during the mission. While the second aircraft landed safely, the KC-135 involved in the accident crashed under circumstances that are still being investigated. The military has stated that there is currently no indication that the crash was caused by enemy fire.

The incident happened amid tensions in the region involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, where military activity has increased in recent weeks.

The identities of the fallen service members have not yet been released, as officials said their families must first be formally notified. Military authorities have launched a full investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.

The tragedy highlights the risks faced by military personnel deployed in conflict zones as operations continue across the Middle East.
