The Rivers State Government has announced that all civil servants and public office holders in the state, including the lawmakers, will receive an annual Christmas bonus of N100,000. The bonus is a token of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of public servants throughout the year.
The government said the bonus is non-discriminatory and will be paid to all eligible public officials without distinction. This includes employees across various ministries, departments, agencies, and elected representatives in the state.
The Rivers State administration said the annual payment is part of its effort to motivate public servants and recognize their contribution to the growth and development of the state. Officials said the bonus, which has been given every year, is intended to support the festive celebrations of workers and their families.
