Governor Yusuf has condemned the brutal killing of a mother and her six children, describing the act as inhuman and deeply disturbing. He expressed profound sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and extended condolences to the affected family and community.
The governor vowed that those responsible would be pursued with the full weight of the law, stressing that justice must be swift and decisive. He stated that, upon conviction through due legal process, the perpetrators would face the death penalty, in line with existing laws, to serve as both punishment and deterrence.
Governor Yusuf also directed security agencies to intensify investigations to ensure the suspects are apprehended and prosecuted without delay. He emphasized the importance of protecting lives, maintaining law and order, and ensuring that crimes of such magnitude are met with firm and lawful consequences.
