A robust crowd of party faithful converged at Western Nempi Primary field on Tuesday as the APC Nempi-Eleh Ward commenced its official membership e-registration, marking a decisive step in grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Addressing the gathering, Hon. Willie Okolieogwo, Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, who spearheaded the flag off, lauded the ward for its remarkable organizational spirit and unwavering commitment to party activities.
He reminded participants that, as the party’s grassroots foot soldiers, they carry the responsibility of delivering the governor’s mandate and ensuring robust participation in the ongoing e-registration across Imo State.

Okolieogwo underscored that the exercise reflects the governor’s directive for all members across the 27 LGAs and 305 electoral wards to actively mobilize citizens, a vital step toward the successful conduct of the 2027 elections.
Emphasizing accessibility, he noted that the electronic registration allows any adult from 18 years and above to register from anywhere using only their NIN and voters’ card information, ensuring wider inclusion of party members at home and abroad.
The immediate past Chairman of Imo State ALGON recounted the governor’s transformative efforts in the community, including road infrastructure upgrades and the ongoing Orashi 24/7 power supply project, describing him as a dependable brother and benefactor.

He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his progressive policies that have eased living conditions, lowered the cost of essentials and urged the people to support the president’s agenda to consolidate these gains by 2027.
Chief Alphonsus Okike, an APC leader in the Ward, reiterated that the state and national leadership have tangibly alleviated poverty and inspired hope, urging every resident to register and encourage their family and friends to do the same.

Ward Chairman, Ben Ekwueme called on all members to embrace the exercise with diligence, emphasizing that unity, collective action and civic responsibility are key to strengthening the party’s grassroots foundation.
Similarly, the woman leader of APC Nempi-Eleh Ward, Mrs. Theresa Nwano alongside Youth Leader Mr. Micheal Udike, charged women and youths to actively participate, mobilize their loved ones and seize the opportunity to benefit from the party’s ongoing initiatives and community programs.
