The Kwankwasiyya Movement has denied reports claiming that its national leader, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, was flown out of Nigeria for medical treatment. The movement described the reports as false and misleading, saying they do not reflect the true situation.

In a statement issued by the movement’s spokesperson, Captain Mansur Kurugu, it was explained that Senator Kwankwaso’s recent trip outside the country was for personal reasons and not related to any health issues.

He stated that claims suggesting the former Kano State governor was ill or required medical care abroad are incorrect.

The statement noted that the rumours originated from unverified social media posts that spread quickly without factual support. The movement advised the public to ignore the reports, stating that they are based on speculation rather than confirmed information.

It was also stated that Senator Kwankwaso has continued to participate in political and social activities, contradicting claims that he is unwell. The movement attributed the reports to individuals seeking to create confusion within the political space.

The movement added that Senator Kwankwaso is in good health and urged the public and the media to rely on information from official and credible sources when following developments related to his activities.
