Imo born social celebrity Mazi Paschal C. Okechukwu alias Cubana Chief Priest , has started planting City Boy visions and philosophy into Imo house holds as he formally flagged off the City Boy Movement, CBM, in Owerri, Imo State, amid pump and pageantry unto youths across the state.

Okechukwu the Social croner and Ambassador for the Renewed Hope Administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement, led more than a One million Imo Youths at an inauguration ceremony on Saturday, February 14, 2026.

The event coincided with the 2026 Valentine’s Day celebration, widely referred to as Lover’s Day, attracted men, women, and youths from the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State chanting and Celebrating President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as well as the” 3R ” shared Prosperity programmes of distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma CON.

The gathering, held at his palatial residence in New Owerri, recorded a massive turnout of young people drawn from Communities across the state .
Students from various tertiary institutions were also present, adding colour and vibrancy to the occasion.
The event that offered greater focal Point of the Renewed Hope Agenda on the Youths emphasized what Comrade Lennin of then Soviet Union that Youths are the Live Wire of every responsive leadership which Tinubu represents.
The City Boy Movement is a youth driven political support group mobilising nationwide backing for the re election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Analysis by our political Correspondent disclosed that Mazi Okechukwu’s appointment as Imo State Director, (Cubana Chief Priest) is expected to coordinate strategic youth engagement through grassroots mobilisation, and political sensitisation in the state.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Mazi Okechukwu underscored the importance of constructive political participation and the active involvement of young people in governance, particularly at the federal level.

The Chief Priest disclosed that the movement provides a credible platform through which youths can channel their voices positively within the framework of the ruling party, while contributing meaningfully to national development.
Observers described the launch as a significant political development in Imo State, noting that it signals the consolidation of a structured youth driven force ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Political stakeholders who attended the event commended the peaceful conduct of participants and the seamless organisation of the flag off ceremony.

He assured supporters of his unwavering dedication to the re election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

He pledged to work assiduously with members of the City Boy Movement and other stakeholders to secure a resounding victory for the President and candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming general elections.

During his address, he also declared his intention to contest for the Federal House of Representatives seat, aimed at representing Orlu, Orsu, and Oru-East Federal Constituency in 2027 under the platform of the APC .

Okechukwu lauded Barrister Seyi Tinubu, founder and initiator of the City Boy Movement and son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for finding him worthy of the appointment as Imo State Director of the movement..
Concerning the upcoming 2027 general election, Cubana Chief Priest reminded Ndigbo , “It is better to be inside the government than to be outside”.
