The Imo House of Assembly member for Isiala Mbano state constituency Hon. Chief Sam Ikechukwu Osuji has been elevated to a new level amongst Members of the Knight of st. Mulumba. ( Ksm)The prestigious ceremony which took place at Maria Mater Ecclesia Catholic Diocese , Ahiara Saturday 11th . May 2024 was performed by the newly appointed Bishop of Ahiara Diocese , His lordship Bishop
Simeon O. Nwobi .
Speaking with Newsmen , the soft spoken Politician and outstanding Community leader in Okigwe zone stated his elevation portends using more of his time to service of God and humanity.
Chief Osuji , popularly called Ohazurumee , Okwubanego asserted that his elevation took a whooping 17 years of active service to God and humanity to attain the 3rd degree as e member of the st. Mulumba in the Catholic Church.
The new 3rd degree KSM Catholic devot , sir Sam Ikechukwu Osuji disclosed that Bishop Nwobi was apt in his charge to newly admitted Members to rededicate themselves in their different fields of endeavour to justify their positions before God.
He observed that the only way to go is for Members to redouble their efforts serving Mankind for God’s pleasures. In his words , God remains the ultimate as whatever position one occupy is through grace not our righteousness.
The grand knight of the Maria Mater Ecclesia Catholic Sub- Council Villa Maria Cathedral Ahiara , Sir Justus C. Ogu was loud in his submission as he told the audience that 3rd degree KSM Members are those who passed their examinations for Knighthood elevations.
Sir Justus Ogu, outlined the criteria for Knighthood memberships as include ; first being baptized in the Catholic Church, 2nd must be Confirmation in the Catholic Sacrament of Christ Jesus., Must also be a married man, a man who has being wedded in the Catholic Church because it’s a Marian Order , So It’s a man and a woman and their family ,practicing Catholic Faith .
